AIXM 5.1.1 Specification
Data Model (UML)
The AIXM 5.1.1 Data Model has been migrated to Sparx EA (after an initial XMI export from IBM Rational Rose Data Modeller) and it is available in several formats, including the original Sparx EA file and an XMI format.
XML Schema (XSD)
Tthe AIXM 5.1.1 XML Schema was automatically generated from the AIXM 5.1.1 UML Model by using a script. The rules for this conversion are the same as for AIXM 5.1. However, the script itself is different because it works with the Sparx EA model (instead of using the previous IBM Rational Rose UML Model). The resulting schema, together with further infromation is available through the link below.
An updated version of the Temporality Concept document is issued in relation with AIXM 5.1.1. This version does not introduce any real changes as compared to version 1.0, which was published in relation with the AIXM 5.1 version. Its objective is rather to provide clarifications and to explain better some aspects of the concept. This version also includes an explicit list of temporality consistency rules.
AIXM Temporality Concept (version 1.1) [to be uploaded when finalised by the CCB]
Feature identification and reference
The same rules as for AIXM 5.1 are applicable to AIXM 5.1.1.
Note: An update of the document is being discussed in the AIXM CCB, with the objective to explain better some aspects of the concept. When this new version will be finalised, it will be made available here, in addition to the current version.
AIXM 5.1.1. is a GML 3.2.1 compliant schema. A GML profile and associated guidelines for use of GML for aviation data have been developed by the Aviation Domain Working Group of OGC and are made available on the OGC Web site.
Note-1: this revised version contains a number of clarifications and editorial corrections as compared with the initial version (released with AIXM 5.1).
Note-2: the actual location of the GML Profile XSD schama has been moved to http://external.schemas.opengis.net/gmlAIXMProfile/1.1/gml321forAIXM.xsd. The location mentioned in the document at page 10 is outdated.
